Maintenance Assistant/Groundskeeper. Participates in the maintenance, construction and repair work of the fairgrounds structures, facilities, and equipment. High school graduation or equivalent; minimum two years’ experience performing manual labor in construction, landscaping or maintenance.
Office Assistant: Performs clerical duties of a routine nature such as typing, filing, record keeping, bookkeeping and receptionist work. High school graduation or equivalent and any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training.

Community Development Assistant
Curry County Community Development Department is accepting applications for a part time (less than 20 hours per week) Community Development Assistant. This position serves as the contact for coordination of County Surveyor services and performs clerical duties for Code Enforcement, Planning and Building departments within the Community Development Department. The Communications Deputy answers emergency and service calls from the public and dispatches police, fire and medical units. Curry County Parks is seeking volunteer, contracted, seasonal camp host(s) for the County park system. The County provides an RV space, with full hookups. Responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting campers, grounds and facility maintenance, cleaning restrooms, and assisting with check-in. This position will assist in planning, organizing and coordinating activities for Public Health response to all hazard emergencies (including pandemics). Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
