The Curry County Housing Committee was initiated by the Board of Commissioners after the declaration (Resolution R2019-40) of a housing emergency for Curry County. The purpose of the committee is to ensure there is a sufficient supply of affordable, adequate housing units to meet the needs of Curry County's workforce, senior citizens, persons who experience a disability, veterans, and low and moderate income families, and to provide for warm shelter and housing for the homeless.
The committee meets the second Friday of each month from 2:00pm to 4:00pm in the BOC Hearing Room at the Curry County Annex located at 94235 Moore Street, Gold Beach, Oregon.
