Our Mission

The mission of the Curry County Public Health Department is to promote and protect the health of the public. We do this through the control of communicable diseases, collection of vital statistics, programs which identify and mitigate risks to health, promotion of maternal and child health, and health education and referral services.

Our services are delivered in a manner that conveys respect and concern for each individual we meet. While offering our services, we encourage individuals and families to take responsibility for life style choices that promote general health and well being.

Some Examples of our Services:

Well baby checks, immunizations, annual gynecological exams for women, contraception, pregnancy tests, health education and screening on sexually transmitted infections.  

Our Providers:

Patricia Savage, RN, MS, BCPNP is our board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has experience in treating individuals from birth through adolescence.
